Stamping on a candle?

Yes, it can be done and is just so simple. All you need to do is stamp on some baking paper, make it all pretty (I have used coloured markers and glitter), put the stamped baking paper against the candle and wrap around some wax paper to protect it and apply heat using the Stampin' Up! Heat Tool and there you have it. What great presents these make! I can't wait to start my next one.

I have learnt a new technique..Crayon Resist

My very talented upline taught me on the weekend Crayon Resist which is such a great technique. It is using a white crayon and marking the places that you don't want to put any ink over - it has such a great effect! I mounted my finished product to a card and here it is...

If you want to learn about this technique, please email me.

You have got to love "One Sheet Wonders"

I was introduced to the world of One Sheet Wonders on the weekend by my upline and I now can't get enough. I have been searching websites high and low for my next One Sheet Wonder project as this is just such a great idea. I completed 10 cards in the space of a couple of hours using a piece of A4 cardstock where you can stamp all over it to your hearts content, 5 A4 colour sheets of cardstock and some contrasting cardstock. The cardstock that you stamp you cut out different shapes (it is best to follow a template which I can send you) and that helps to form the layout of your cards. I used colours from the bold brights pallete, some glitter and silver brads - it is that simple!

Please email me if you would like to know more about One Sheet Wonders and if you would like a template sent to you.
